The Community Scheme have been very busy during the close of season devoloping new activities for the 2006/07 season and looking at improving all existing ones. 

Schools' Match Day Visits

One activity which proved a massive success last season was our schools' Match Day Visits.  This scheme launched last season improved attendances and will hopefully continue to bring in a new wave of supporters both young and old from across North Wales and the North West.  We all know how important young supporters are to our future success, and the noise from these youngsters in the paddock makes a positive difference to the atmosphere at home games. 

With this is mind we have organised three early season match day visits before the summer holidays are even over.  The first visit takes place this Saturday against Peterborough United, we will be running coaches from the Rhyl and Prestatyn areas.  So why not leave your car at home and travel to the game in style.  For further details please contact Ben Hodgson on 01978 358545.

Summer Soccer Schools

We are currently in the middle of Summer Soccer Schools, and with two weeks already gone we have been delighted with the turnout of children at both NEWI and Mold Sport Centres.  Theses courses are  for children aged between 5 and 16 years of age, and the remaining  dates of the courses are listed below:

WREXHAM - Newi Sports Centre: Monday 7th August to Thursday 10th August

LLANGOLLEN - Dinas Bran High School: Monday 14th August to Thursday 17th August

RUTHIN - Ruthin High School: Monday 14th August to Thursday 17th August

WREXHAM - Newi Sports Centre: Monday 21st August to Thursday 24th August

RHYL - Rhyl Sports Centre: Tuesday 29th August to Friday 1st September

Mini Football Club

Our Mini Football Club under the guidance of Community Coach Richard Jones, has grown during the summer, the club which is aimed at 5 to 7 year olds is run every Saturday morning at Stansty Lane.  The club offers the children the chance to take part in fun coaching sessions and matches, under the guidance of experienced and qualified members of staff.
