Squad Latest - Rotherham United
MIDFIELDER Matty Crowell has earned himself a recall to the first team squad that will travel to Millmoor tomorrow to face high flying Rotherham United.
The former Wales U21 international has not figured in the senior side since the heavy defeat to Chesterfield in early October and with his short-term contract running out at the end of this month Matty will be hoping for the opportunity to impress the new manager.
"I'm really pleased be back with the first team," said Matt.
"This is an important game for us, as we need all the points we can get at the moment.
"It's also another chance for me and one I'm eager to take.
"I played against Everton in midweek and felt I did okay.
"During these last weeks, I have tried to keep myself going and hope I have been doing enough in the Pontin's matches to show that I'm ready if needed.
"Both Joey Jones and Andy O'Boyle have been working with me at the training ground and during reserve games with Morecambe and Bury I have tried to push on.
"I have been waiting for my chance to come again and I hope this trip to Rotherham United will give me the opportunity to show that I can contribute to the club."
Also back is Mike Williams, who has only made one start this season, as Richard Hope is a concern after picking up a knock in training.
Wrexham: Anthony Williams, Michael Jones, Neil Taylor, Shaun Pejic, Richard Hope, Steve Evans, Wes Baynes, Ryan Valentine, Sam Aiston, Gareth Evans, Robbie Garrett, Josh Johnson, Chris Llewellyn, Matty Crowell, Michael Proctor, Neil Roberts, Mike Williams, Mark Jones.
