THE Reds have secured another signing with the capture of 29-year-old striker Jefferson Louis, who earlier this season made his debut as an international for Dominica.

Louis has had a much-travelled footballing career, which has seen him appear for 17 teams, mostly non-league, over the last eight years, with the highlights being able to play against his boyhood heroes Arsenal for Oxford United in a 3rd round FA Cup tie in February 2003.

He joined Mansfield Town in January 2008 on a three-month contract, but was released once the Stags' chances of survival disappeared.

Louis represented Dominica in a World Cup Qualifier against Barbados earlier this year, which Dominica lost 1-0. He played up front with his cousin, the former QPR but more famous Havant & Waterlooville man, Richard Pacquette in this match.

Throughout his time in football he has played in the Football League with Oxford United, Bristol Rovers and Mansfield Town. While he has also represented the following non-league clubs - Weymouth, Havant & W, Yeading, Stevenage, Worthing, Woking, Forest Green, Ebbsfleet and Thame United.
