JWC Gets Off To Flying Start
SEE the best tries from all the matches played on day one of the IRB Junior World Championship 2008.
There are some scintillating efforts amongst them, epitomising the excitement of this tournament and the wealth of talent that could be gracing full international matches in the very near future.
The near 2,000 crowd that turned out at the Racecourse witnessed first the power of the South Africans as they ran in over 100 points against the hapless Americans, while there was then a tight contest between Samoa and Scotland with the Pacific Islanders scoring a late length of the field try to decide the contest.

Tomorrow night there are two more games when Samoa face the USA (5.00pm) and then Scotland look to grab points off the South Africans at 7.00pm.
You can pay on the night into the Yale Stand, Adults £8.00 and Juniors £2.00, which covers both matches - and don't forget, because it's rugby, you also can get a drink in the Centernary Club to take with you into the stands to watch the action.
The final group games will be this Saturday 14 June, when Scotland play off with the USA (3.00) and then Samoa v South Africa at 5.00pm.
