Mold Road Stand Open On Saturday
BLACKPOOL are our next opponents (Saturday, 3.00pm) as we continue preparing for the big kick-off and can we remind fans that only the Mold Road Stand will be in use for home supporters.
One or two people have asked why we are opening the Mold Road Stand instead of the Yale Stand - basically it's because that's where supporters like going, with well over 60% of home attendances opting for this area of the ground on matchdays.
For Premier Cup matches and the like, we are required to place fans in front of the TV cameras, obviously that's not the case for friendlies, so why not use the stand which is most popular with our supporters.
The catering facilities are far better and we can also offer the Changing Rooms Bar - accessed via the door at the top of the stand, next to the Executive Boxes - for those who would like a drink pre-match and again at half time.
With over 3,500 seats available, there is more than enough room for the expected attendance.
Blackpool fans will use the Eric Roberts Stand - via turnstiles 36-42.
Admission prices are a respectable:
£7.00 - Adults
£3.00 - Concessions (u16s & over 65s)
The Executive Box in the Yale Stand will still be available for patrons of that area, tickets from the Ticket Office - with tea & coffee available in the Executive Room.
These arrangements will also apply to Tuesday night's match against Crewe Alexandra (7.30).
