AFTER the bitter taste of disappointment suffered by all Wrexham supporters last night, there is some good news this morning with the return of skipper Neil Roberts to action.

The striker will play for the Reserves in tonight's mini-derby against Chester City at the Deva Stadium (7.00), when Joey Jones' boys go looking for a derby day victory over our local rivals.

"It has been a long wait to get back to this stage," said Neil.

"Now I'm just looking forward to playing again and there is the added attraction of a game against Chester at their place."

Also in the squad will be the likes of Mike Williams, Josh Johnson, Mike Jones, Simon Spender, Gareth Evans, Andy Fleming, Jamie Reed and Matt Crowell.

Mark Jones continues his recovery plan and it is hoped he will be playing again next week, following a cartilage operation at the end of December.
