WREXHAM will hope to salvage some pride at the end of a disappointing campaign when they face Lincoln City at Sincil Bank this Saturday (3.00pm).

With Chester City gaining a point against Stockport County in midweek, we know now that Mansfield Town will join us in the Blue Square Premier next season.

At the top end of the table matters have also been decided, with MK Dons, Peterborough United and Hereford United looking forward to League One football.

Brian Little gave some of the club's youngsters a first-team start against Accrington Stanley, but they could not improve matters in the final home game of the season.

An early Shaun Pejic own goal gave the visitors the advantage, and they extended their lead through Peter Cavanagh and Shaun Whalley. A Neil Roberts penalty gave the remaining supporters something to cheer in injury time.

Despite the result Brian Little is likely to keep faith with the players who will form the basis of the side for next season. Neil Taylor and Wes Baynes will hope for starts after playing the second half last week, and striker Marc Williams could return alongside Chris Llewellyn up front.

Lincoln City will be without youngster Martin Pembleton after the midfielder picked up a knee ligament strain in their recent 2-1 victory at Morecambe.

Last Time Out

The Dragons took all three points when the sides met at the Racecourse in September. Marc Williams curled in the winner from 18 yards shortly after half time, and the visitors finished with ten men after Gary Croft picked up his second yellow card for a foul on Mike Carvill.
