Match Preview - Bradford City
AFTER an excellent performance against MK Dons, WREXHAM hope to make it back-to-back victories against Bradford City on Saturday (3.00pm).
Brian Little included six of his new signings in the Dragons' line-up last week, and the new-look Wrexham side upset the odds as they defeated the league leaders 1-0 thanks to Neil Roberts' wonderful chip.
With Barnet progressing to the fourth round of the FA Cup, Bradford City were left with a free weekend - which has meant we have been able to bring forward the visit of the Bantams which was originally scheduled for Tuesday 12th February.
Stuart McCall's side have had mixed results this season, but are currently in a decent run of form with just one defeat in their last five games. This defeat came at the hands of promotion-chasing Hereford United, who came away with a 3-1 away win.
The visit to the Racecourse will be the Bantams second away trip in a matter of days after facing Bury in midweek. Despite taking the lead twice through Barry Conlon and Kyle Nix, McCall's side had to settle for a point after Dale Stephens scored a late equaliser for the home side.
City are likely to include new loan signing Ben Starosta in their line-up this weekend, the young full-back joining the Bantams from Sheffield United. Starosta has already had plenty of League Two experience after spending the first half of the season on loan at Brentford.
Therefore if selected, it will be Starosta's second appearance at the Racecourse this season - after helping Brentford to a 3-1 victory last month.
Brian Little may have to make at least one change to his starting line-up following the victory against MK Dons. Paul Hall limped off during the first half with a hamstring injury and was replaced by Michael Proctor.
Little may decide to include another new face however, following the loan signing of Robert Duffy from Oxford United.
Last Time Out
Wrexham's performance at Bradford City back in August was certainly worthy of a point, but young striker Luke Medley stole the points for Stuart McCall's men.
Eddie Johnson struck to put the home side ahead early in the second half, but Neil Roberts' header levelled matters soon after. With twelve minutes remaining, substitute Medley hit a wonderful volley past Anthony Williams to win the game.
