Match Preview - Bury
WREXHAM will hope to move off the bottom of the table this weekend but have a tough task ahead of them as in-form Bury visit the Racecourse this Saturday (3.00pm).
The Dragons went down to a narrow defeat at Wycombe Wanderers in midweek. Goals from Leon Knight and Scott McGleish put the home side 2-0 up, and despite a spirited comeback in the second half Wrexham could not force an equaliser after Michael Proctor halved the deficit.
With Macclesfield Town winning in midweek, Wrexham are again six points adrift of safety at the bottom of League Two.
This weekend's opposition have had a recent upturn in results which has seen them move clear of the pack fighting against relegation.
The Shakers have won their last three games, with victories over Brentford (4-1), Morecambe (2-1) and Rotherham United (3-0).
Young striker Andy Bishop has contributed greatly to this run, finding the net six times in the three victories. This has taken his tally to 23 for the season, 17 in the league.
Brian Little will be without Steve Evans, Danny Sonner and Jeff Whitley for the game, the trio missing out through injury.
Neil Roberts could replace Whitley in midfield should he recover in time from an ankle injury.
Last Time Out
The Dragons took all three points from their visit to Gigg Lane back in December. Eifion Williams scored the only goal of the game on the half hour mark, though the goal came at a cost as he limped off with a hamstring injury soon after.
