Made his debut at Port Vale in 2001, but had to wait until a visit to Peterborough United in January 2002 for his second appearance in a Wrexham shirt.
Retained his placed over the next few weeks, until a dead leg sidelined him, but his performances were enough to earn him a full professional contract.
Qualified to play for Wales through family connections, he was an established member of the U21 side, after making his debut away to Finland in September 2002.
His father Mel, is not only the club physio, but also holds the same position with the Wales senior squad!
Shaun has steadily been gaining experience with the Red Dragons and fits in comfortably on the right side of our defence.
