An unflappable defender, Mike Williams has established himself in the first team during the 2006-7 season.
Equally comfortable at left back or in the centre of defence, Williams made his debut in a miserable 4-0 defeat at Wycombe in September 2007 but made a good impression with his solid perfromances when he got a chance.
He was rewarded with an extended chance the following season, holding his place at the back ahead of Welsh squad member Ryan Valentine in a run of nine consecutive starts.
A Welsh Under-21 international, Williams played a leading role in the memorable cup upsets at Sheffield Wednesday and Scunthorpe as he and his brother Marc look to create a dynasty at The Racecourse!
