Having progressed via the club's youth system, Neil was offered a professional contract in the summer of 2007 after two years as a regular with both U18s and Reserve teams.
He has also made his mark at international level with both U17s and U19s for Wales, captaining the older age group and now stepping up to the U21s.
Neil made his U21 debut against France in September 2007, when coming on as a substitute in Grenoble.
His preformances in pre-season games against Liverpool and Blackburn Rovers certainly caught the eye of Wrexham supporters, who will be hoping to see more of this locally based player in the near future.
