Buckley Reds
The Buckley & District Reds are based in the Flintshire town and hold regular meetings at the Buckley Cricket Club.
Already this group has raised over £1,200 for the football club and they also collected the grand sum of £490.00 for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity following a bucket collection at the recent Wales v New Zealand game.
"Our thanks to everyone who gave up their time to shake a bucket and also to those who threw some coins into the buckets, and finally thanks to everyone at the club for their help on the day, including the stewards."
Founding member Paul Antrobus passed away after failing victim to the diesese, but his memory lives on in a number of forms - ncluding the trophy named after him which is presented to the Buckley Reds' Player of the Season.
To join costs only £5 per adult and just £1 for Juniors.
