FOLLOWING a meeting of the club's Safety Group, it has been agreed to extend the ground safety certificate to include the Kop, starting with the Aston Villa game.

This means we can re-open the Kop with immediate effect and we can start selling tickets for that section for the Carling Cup clash next Tuesday.

The meeting also re-affirmed that this cup-tie is an ALL-TICKET encounter and as such the sale of tickets will have to cease at noon on the day of the match.

This means there will be NO cash admissions at the turnstiles on the night - so if you want to attend this potentially enthralling tie, then you will have to buy a ticket in advance!

Tickets will continue to be available from the Racecourse on Friday (24 Aug) from 9.30am to 6.00pm, and we can also accept credit card bookings for collection as the date for posting out tickets has now passed.

With only a short turn around between the draw taking place and then the game, together with the added problems of a Bank Holiday thrown in for good measure, we will be opening the Ticket Office for business over the long weekend.

On Saturday we will be open before the Away Travel Club coaches head across to Bradford City - 10.00am to 12.00pm.

On Sunday we will be open from 11.00am to 1.00pm.

On Bank Holiday Monday we will be open from 10.00am to 1.00pm.

Your last chance to purchase a ticket will be on Tuesday, 28 August - 9.30am to 12.00pm.

Please note that credit card bookings are subject to a £2.00 booking fee per order.

Season ticket seats will be reserved until Friday night, after which they will be released.

Please note that reserved numbered seating will be in operation for this game.
